This is my adopted lady from Humanes Society. Her name is Inky and she has been with me for about one month now. She is very smart and loves to climb like a monkey on a tree but there is no room for a tree so she uses the kitchen cabinet tops. My friends tell me to call her Monkey. :yahoo:

That was her first time laying on sofa. She was enjoying the male friend I had visiting, maybe showing off a bit. He is a real cat person too.

Yesterday I went on a bus trip for shopping with a group of seniors. I was somewhat nervous about leaving her alone with all my plants to knock over. When I got back about 3 to 4 hours later she was in her upper kingdom on top of kitchen cabinets and all was well except she was very hungry.

I like her stance in that first photo. I am heartened to see her so relaxed and that she has allowed you to live with her, Di.

Cats are good friends and Inky is going to be a buddy for life.
