Are your bird's feathers trimmed, or are they fully flighted?

Flighted :) Flight is incredibly important for their physical and mental well-being - every bit of their body and brain is designed to fly.

I chose to bring a bird into my home, so the onus is on me to make it safe for her. I have old curtains covering a dresser and the back of a sofa. I've also set up perches where I want her to go. Birds are reluctant to fly into darkness so one easy way to stop her from going into other places is to keep the lights off - pretty easy in a one bedroom place where both of the humans spend most of their time in the living room.
