Hi, i have a female canary who keep scratching around the chest and top of wing.
Her partner just passed away with mites and respiratory problem yesterday. He was sick since this early week and i already separated them and spraying the whole cages twice , and also throw away the one that i can't wash such as toys.
I don't see anything crawling on her so far, while in my male canary its quite obvious.
She is eating fine, drinking and flying here and there (active).
What can be the problem? Its currently summer in Australia and quite humid.
I already gave her ivermectin this 4days ago and waiting until its a week to give her another dose.
Please help.

I've been advised by a few bird owner that its moulting season in Australia, so its possibly because of this. Finger crossed.
