Cockatiel flew into window

My cockatiel just flew into a window. He made his scream noise he does when hes scared. It was the worst scream he's done. I put him in the cage and he started closing his eyes so we covered him up with the towels. Is there anything we can do? We're not sure if he has a concussion or not.

He's okay. We got the all clear and he's taking a tad of cayenne pepper for the pain. He's functioning well and he's eating and drinking.

I'm guessing because humans are fallible and make mistakes sometimes. No need to be harsh.

Asula has been a member for nearly a year and has only 2 threads, this one and the one for her conure.
Please don't judge her for not knowing everything, a lot of members here are only following forums with direct relevance to their birds and won't spend days perusing every thread in every forum. Most of those only come here when there is a problem and will only start a thread if there isn't an existing one that gives them their answer. That is human nature. Some of them are shy as well.

Who gave you an all clear? One thing more you can do is to make your home bird safe for flying. That would include windows and any other reflective surface. Please be bird safe!
