Bosco was going through some screaming behaviors for a while (part of the reason we brought home Quibble), but we seem to have turned a new leaf finally!

Ripley is now living in the den (my main floor hang out) while Bosco and Quibble get free range of the living room area from sun up to sun down. Extra friend time, removing Ripley from his line of sight, and more flight time seems to be making him a much happier guy

I'm so incredibly glad that that's the case. He's just such a particular little dude.

I've done what I can to support him, but no amount of food, toys, love, out of cage time, or even a similar sized buddy has helped long term. I was really hopeful that Quibble would be enough.

April and I really truly think he needs a Linnie friend for his happiness, but my husband is dead set against it (and I don't blame him). So we have made the decision it is time to find him a new home where he can thrive.

I know some will think less of me for giving up, but if I learned anything from Jingo, it's that trying for too long at the expense of my own mental health is not sustainable, realistic, or fair to either of us.

If anyone knows of anyone looking for a single Linnie male to add to their flock, let me know. I'll be posting a thread in rehome highway also but wanted to share an update here as well.

You've given him anything and everything that could possibly make him happy and he just isn't content for some reason. I'm certain that you'll be able to find him the best home possible I trust you explicitly and always have.

I get the screaming. Secret pushes buttons too. We've finally resorted to throwing a sheet over the cage (in the morning) or take her to the back of the house in the evening for a time out.

My family quickly tells me that Secret is quiet until I am home.....

(Bird has me trained to her every desire)
