Glad it all worked out and it's nice to have a baby "warmer upper" in the house.

Now that I have a BN baby I could finially see what it's beak looks like. I gathered a bunch of save pix's and did a collage of a comparison of the 2 species I have.

This is the little one from yesterday. LOOK!...the pins are starting to show under the skin already!

And Ruby is down chewing in the stalk of the aloe plant. She has been shredding and taking the dried leaves up to the nest.

Carole, That is a piece of your Spanish Moss. Eyes should start to open at 4-5 days old (I'm not positive) By 10 days old he should be feathered!

Look at how fast the wee ones grow ~ feathers are coming in already!

Yes, they grow fast! Tomorrow there will be a noticable change.

Do they parents yell at you when you scoop up a baby or do they trust you or??

So far they act like they trust me. I made the nest on a wire platform that hooks on the side of the cage. I can now gently shoo the parents off and take the nest out, check the baby/eggs, take pix's and put it back. They go right back to the nest.

since they are wild caughts they had to be worked with for almost a year to get them where they are stable and calm with me fussing around.

Well you did say they have more a "family" attitude where everybody kind of helps out.

So I guess you got the ok to do a bit of "helping" too.
