Hi! I'm Alec, a first time bird owner. I've owned animals all my life: cats, dogs, fish, and a few hermit crabs. I've always enjoyed the company of animals. Yesterday, I met Bimini the canary. She was alone in a PetSmart when I met her, so I'm giving her time to adjust and relax. I hope I can gain her trust soon; my biggest goal currently is getting her comfortable enough to leave her cage. I've been doing research for hours, and that's when I found this site. I'll definitely be perusing the forums and posting here and there. Until then, happy to make your acquaintance :^)
