My cockatiel won’t take a bath unless I take her into the shower and she basically watched me and then joined finally… I have heard not to let the water go in their nares, but she loves to let the water just hit her whole head and pour on her from the shower head . Is it okay to let her do it? It’s so calming for her to be right in the stream full head and all?

My vet said that my birds can get as wet as they want in the shower, so I believe it’s fine. I never heard about not getting their nares wet, but of course you don’t want the spray too hard. That’s great that she enjoys it so much!
