Actually, yes it is! Go to the Petco link... then look through the sizes. Look at the cost of the different sizes.

I do agree, the 17x17 cage is far too small for a quaker! Let alone *any* species, even a finch, IMO!

But price and size just didn't seem "right" to me so I went back and looked. Found the size difference via Amazon, hence that link!

Glad to know it is in fact the largest cage available, not the smallest! The pet store employee actually did a fantastic job! (many don't!)

The cage that the OP purchased is actually larger. Your cages are 24x22 and Samantha purchased a 34x22 cage. (measurements without seed guards) Somebirdy is going to be spoiled!!!

Agreed, expensive, however it has already been purchased. So unless Samantha wants to return it to get a smaller cage, I think it'll be just fine! I don't recommend anything smaller than a 32x21 flight cage myself! Usually run $180-$300-ish, depending on where you buy them... used for $50-$150 typically.
