Ma'am I don't think that's yours...

(She only had it for a sec for pics, don't worry - she didn't even manage to scratch it )

Dolly breaks all her hard plastic toys. She actually puts Frankie to shame. If she got a hold of his "toy", it would be a goner in no time at all. She broke his last one.

Hmm.

Is there any harm in letting her chew on this? It never occurred to me to give her a dog toy :roflmao:

I'm sure I remember some macaw owners here giving their birds Kongs! I'm gonna look for that now...

Yes there have been a few, @faislaq’s big Buzzy boy is probably the most memorable and adorable though.
Wouldn’t be suitable for it to go from dog to bird but new ones used under supervision I wouldn’t think of as a problem.
I gave Burt’s kongs away, he liked to drop them on me while I was cage cleaning and they blooming hurt!

Yeah that bone was brand new - I tried to make sure my knee was not directly under her while she was playing with it, having that dropped on my kneecap would’ve ruined my day, I think.

I have some Kong toys that the dogs don’t really play with anymore, can I just boil them to sterilize them again?

I think boiling them would be fine. That's what I did. :)

@Zara swapped Gísli's plush whale for a small Kong & found it much easier to clean. :dishes:

That kong had to be binned a while back. I chucked it in the recycling. The plastic went all funny after it had been fed, humped, washed and disinfected so many times.
Gis' current girlfriend is the pink small kong (blue was sold out :( ) - he loves it all the same, he doesn't seem to care about the colour :)
