A post for Isadora and her shenanigans

I figured it would be better to have a post for her rather than 20 posts - since more of it will be pics than anything else

She loves climbing all over, and has climbed into another unused cage to raid the toys I have in there. It was WILD watching her bite wooden brands clean in half. I’m planning to order some in bulk so she can destroy to her hearts content.

Any vendors here sell wooden bits and pieces, like beads and spools?

Ignore her messy face - she got motion sick in the car and I didn’t want to stress her more by trying to scrub her. I’m thinking tomorrow we’re going to try a bath and see what happens.

Overall she’s flipping hilarious. She loves to climb to the outside walls of the cage and then bounce and clack her beak against the metal bars. I had the smaller kids in with Jay and brought her into the bird room for more space for play time, and she’s having a big ol’ blast it seems.

She’ll also do their weird bounce and shake, that I can’t really figure out the meaning behind This motion here.

Not fully - she’s not around the others yet, but given that her vet paperwork included bloodwork and a fecal that came back perfectly, she won’t be in much longer I think.

She steps up beautifully about half the time, the other half the time she’s a nervous wreck. It’s been a little over a week that she’s been here now, and she’s chatting more every day Right now, her favorite treat seems to be dried pasta. She definitely likes crunchy things
