I've never seen her so intent on licking her toesBeen to the beauticians to get all beautified! Bet she feels all spunky now
I had never noticed the shape of her nares before So interesting to me how different her beak and nares are to Birdies! Their faces seem so similar yet so very different... birds are honestly amazing!I've never seen her so intent on licking her toes
Oh dolly you spoilt little ladyI love that coconut oil helps with their dry feet and beaks.
Now that winter is just around the corner, Miss Dolly will be getting more foot massages.
I had been getting her used to me touching her feet for quite a while, as it helps when I use the dremel on her nails.
She loves massages to begin with, as well as getting her beak rubbed. Yes, she's more of a lap dog than a bird.
Isadora looks like she just stepped out of the beauty salon.
That picture says it all "Look at my nails darling, don't they look great?"
It's hubby's fault. I swear!Oh dolly you spoilt little lady

Your son I bet he wishes he could go back and talk to himself now hahaSo, funny story time.
When I first talked to the older couple who originally had Isadora, I wasn't 100% on taking her. I wanted to, obviously, but I had a lot of reservations. Big bird, could I give her all she needed, what if she is unhappy, etc. My partner is the one who pushed me to take her. He knew I'd always love cockatoos, and at one point I'd had a deposit on an umbrella too (and then found out I was pregnant, so it fell through - I knew better than to try a too and an infant). He told he it would be great, everything would work out, I should absolutely, 100% get Isadora.
About two months later, he started questioning his decision. After almost a year of this, he can't believe he talked me into it
Their crests, beaks and head shape seem quite different to me also. Very similar yet so different at the same time! How wild! It's like his are innies and hers are outies
Birdie! It's so lovely to see you,you gorgeous handsome boySorry best I can do this morning, he’s trying to escape the aviary to hang out in the yard but I can’t watch him while packing so he’s not coming out today. View attachment 434980
Well he is now full of himself to the extreme @April... Not sure I should tell him anything else nice you might say about him lolBirdie! It's so lovely to see you,you gorgeous handsome boy
Holy tantrum LOL! I, too, would die if she flipped back on me like that. Is that common behavior for toos? Does your heart completely drop every time she does it?! Goodness aahaha <3So, funny story time.

But you must! He's truly one of the most stunning Toos I've seen. He just looks so majestic and full of mischief.Well he is now full of himself to the extreme @April... Not sure I should tell him anything else nice you might say about him lol
He definitely makes a lot of people smile and captures their heart once they spend any time around him. He is a shifty cheeky bugger but even my mum who does not really want to like him finds herself smiling shaking her head and giggling at his behaviour sometimes- I caught them the other day having an argument and laughing at each other after Birdie screamed (pathetically) at her for dragging a cart full of monstera deliciosa cuttings past him to plant- he gets stroppy at her for moving past him too fast with new things or things he is not keen on.But you must! I can absolutely see why he's so captivating especially in person to folks. There's just something about him that draws you in even in just photographs. He really sounds like a unique and special boy.He definitely makes a lot of people smile and captures their heart once they spend any time around him.
