11 untamed budgies

Hello, I’m in a situation where my family has 11 birds. 10 of the birds are from a pair of birds that we had. The male passed away some years ago, but the female is still with us. I understand that these birds have not had it good. The birds bred 3 times and I honesty don’t think they were take care of well to my knowledge. Now we have 11 untamed budgies and I’ve been trying to take care of them more now that I’m older and see they’ve been neglected for some time. Am I even able to tame these budgies? Will it even be possible at all? I’m stressed cause it’s a lot of birds. Any advice would be appreciated.

That is a large flock to care for. I would search for someone that has an aviary to put them in.

Do they all get along?

Millet may tempt the more outgoing ones into some sort of training compliance. I think you’ll have to adjust your expectations, though. If an outgoing one is friends with a shy one, they’ll likely both be shy.

Yeah they all get along, they tend to squabble with each other a bit but that’s probably because they don’t have enough space or perches. They never get violent with each other. But the cage is about 30x20x30 if I’m correct. I can check again but I don’t think it’s big enough. I really would like to get them a sizable cage or aviary. All of them are pretty shy and get anxious when if I get to close to them.

I’ve been looking to see so I can plan to get a bigger Cage or aviary but where do I look like eBay? Facebook Marketplace?

The most budgies I’ve had at once was 10. That’s how I accommodate them.
