budgie cere

i'm not sure of the particular reason for this but a few hours ago, my budgie had a scratch on his nose. i didn't notice it at the time but i've noticed it now. i attached his nose before and after. if it's bad what should i do?

Even after the many videos I've watched, I'm still not completely sure if my budgie is a male, so I'm asking here. What are all the possible ways to identify a budgies gender, from their appearance to the way they sound to the way they act. Looking at its cere isn't enough, I'm still confused if...

I am thinking my little 3-4 month of budgie Stevie is a boy….took this photo this morning while she/he is having a snuggle….thoughts on her/his cere? Or is it to soon to tell?

Just wondering because Spring is over a year old and still has the baby cere, I thought that they usually have a tan or brown cere by then. Or does it vary? Not that I want hormones... :scared2:
