Zen is not well

Say a little fishy prayer for Zen please. As of yesterday he is not doing well. Today he is spinning. I am going to fast him a couple days and see if we can get him back to good health.

Zen has my well-wishing. Eerily enough, my white Betta( Rex ), passed this week. Though, not from sickness. My mother, very well-meaning, changed his water for me while I was at an appointment. She didn't know enough to watch temps.

I would not be as worried, but he is breathing super heavy. No Judy, I do not think it's the filter. Betta's have a short b ody, especially the halfmoons, and it's easy for the swim bladder to get pressure at the slightest of swelling, constipation, etc. Many times they will right themselves in just a few days. But with the breathing, the outlook is not good.

Carole, do you have a heater in there? I noticed that if you increase the temp a little bit by a degree or two, sometimes it helps with relieving the constipation.
