Poor baby! Bettas are usually hardy little fish but some things hit them harder than most. His tank is absolutely stunning and it looks like you've been doing everything you can for him. I know that my old goldfish had a swim bladder issue, and feeding him frozen peas seemed to always work -- but a betta is so much smaller that I'm not even entirely sure they could ingest a pea. I wish I had advice for you....will send as much good fishie karma his way as we can muster!

I am sorry Carole, I remember when you bid on him and won. We all anticipated his arrival- I am saddened by this he is the first ever snow white Betta I'd ever seen. Get better Zen we love you alot.

Good morning Kacy, thanks for asking. We both still feel like crud. I peeked at him quickly, and he is still prone on his side. He may just be constipated..I am hoping that is it. A couple days of fasting, then I will try the peas. As for me,ate a little bit last night, wished I hadn't, went to sleep early, and as usual, woke up at around 2 a.m.
Stubbed my toe about an hour ago..lol..and have been puttering around{quietly} in the kitchen, trying to clean up a bit, as I went to bed leaving a sink full of dishes. I have no idea what is wrong, but have just been feeling achy and wiped out. I am wondering if the water company did a heavy flush, and we both are feeling bad from the same thing.

I think I've read that constipation is pretty common in bettas - so I hope it's just that and he'll be feeling better soon!
