The official diagnosis is:
primary idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy.
So now it’s keeping his ticker in check and making sure he doesn’t get to much excitement in his life.

What a mouthful! Hoping he will be able to keep his heart regulated, and yours as well in dealing with him, bless his heart!

Wow - Warlord has quite the daggers. I know how bad it is with a few missing toes - couldn't imagine a full set like that gripping, LOL

Warlord is on the mend and my frustration with his breeder is beyond measure.
(My husband went through basically a bird broker when he bought Warlord). So when I sent the diagnosis of his heart condition to the broker so she could inform his breeder to that their pair was passing along heart defects. This was the response that I got.

They don’t breed anymore and they are ignoring me,,,arguing that parents are tested for heart defects and are blaming owner and or whoever had him in his care,,,that’s why they give us 48 hours for vet check and vet cleared him…cannot guarantee ..

I just have no words. I’m throughly just disappointed.

Well you did the correct thing trying to inform them. Shame on them for not being honest or taking this information seriously.

Agree you did the right thing. Unfortunately, some people don't believe things they are told.
What kills me is that I sent them a copy of the vet records. This experience is also the reason why I will never buy from a breeder again.

Sorry for the breeder’s response, but glad you know what’s wrong and that you have a plan to get and keep him healthy.

@FlyingMacaws Could I ask what medications Warlord is on? We have had to change heart medications a few times, so I'm always on the look out for new ones.
