This forum is for advice about initial treatment given to your injured/sick bird until a qualified avian veterinarian is available. THIS IS NOT MEANT TO REPLACE VET CARE
We had to rush Warlord our 13 month old CAG to the avian vet this morning. He began to pass out. Flopping his head around before loosing his balance and than waking back up. We don’t know what’s going on.
He is still in icu, they’ve drawn blood, stool and xrays. I’m waiting for results. We are headed to go see him. M demanded that we go. Warlord is her buddy.
Here’s hoping Warlord/Mr Bubbles is kicking tail soon! He looked so lovely at the coast & it’s sad to hear he isn’t doing well. I am sending prayers & positive thoughts for a speedy recovery. Be Well
Vet just called, they found something abnormal in his sacrum in the xrays. Still waiting on blood results to rule out diseases. She was also concerned about him being underweight and possibly anemic. I honestly don’t know what changed in the last 24 hours.
