She always could have molted feathers while she's been missing! I wish I could have had a sighting myself to know what she looked like after being out in the wild so I'd be aware of changes.

Oooh, I really hope it's Pepper!

And don't worry, she'll remember you. My conure Kiwi had to spend a year away from me when I was away at college(dorms didn't allow pets)...I visited Kiwi every 6 months for that time apart. I would barely even be in the foster woman's front door and Kiwi would be contact calling for me. They remember.
