I could entertain you with a lot of different bug pictures. Maybe we should start a separate thread for post all your creepy crawly shots :p
Go for it! I have some other bug photos but I think I'm submitting this one as a recently hatched cicada -

Oh gross!
Rather a Praying Mantis than an oversize grub which (in Australia) may be eaten for survival purposes - I believe they're called witchetty grubs -
- and no, I wouldn't but my mum told me about this t.v. show when she was living in Tasmania.

My first post is what I am submitting. And @PeppysPal cicadas aren't exactly beautiful most of the time - by the time they're seen by people they're usually dying and are just plain brown ugly bugs that make that whine whenever it's very hot.

I think almost every insect has one beautiful phase in its life even though it may only be for 30 minutes.

Yeah, the skins are kinda gross to find on trees in the fall too. But beautiful pictures!

Here's my entry, some kind of huge moth we came home to while living on Camp Pendleton. I googled it at the time but can't remember what it was...

Columbia Silkmoth? Saw these beauties in Montana! Got some good pics of them, too!

But to choose one photo? Gah! I've come across too many interesting bugs! :p
