Fly Free Mia....

I wont be here for a while so I need to get this out now because I can't revisit this memory for a while.

Mia's gone. Found her today. I blame myself entirely. School. Work. My family. Life. Stress. And I haven't had nearly as much time for my bird family as I used to. I feel like I let her down. She loved me more than anything in the world and I couldn't even be there. I don't know if she was sick. Last time I spent time with her, was Monday... everything seemed fine but it was so brief. I failed her.

I am heartbroken. Devastated. I can't breathe.... I can't think about it without feeling like the worst person in the world. I can't think about it without breaking down...

I feel hollow.

I am going to be finding new homes for Ellie and Lulu and moving Capri into a smaller cage downstairs. I can't be in that room.....


It hurts so much...

Are you having a necropsy done? Might be a good idea, since she shared a room with Capri and the others, just to be on safe side.

It could have been something unavoidable no matter how much time you spent with her.
