I, too, believe that it wasn't anyone's fault, not yours, and not Sarge's. It sounds as if it just was Cracker's time to say GoodBye. Please try to take comfort in the fact that he didn't have to go alone, but in your comforting hands, loved and cherished!

So sorry for your loss. Everyone is saying this and I will too - 43 is a mighty and old age for a conure. It was his time - and you got to hold him. As painful as this situation must have been for you, he passed quickly. And that is a blessing.
