I am so sorry for your loss I also don't think Sarge had anything to do with it. I think at his age it was just a coincidence. Sounds to me like he lived a pretty great life. Remember all the happy times with him

I know how you feel! My son's sweet dog saw my Lovebird on the floor and picked him up. It was all my fault that my bird was out and the dog was free to enter. I was furious at the dog but he was not trying to kill my little sweet guy, just pick him up. I also had to remember he is a dog and his behavior is natural. So I forgave him very quickly but stayed made at me for awhile

hugs hun it hurts I know but be thankfull he went fast in your arms he wasnt sick it was just old age we should be that lucky when our time comes , he didnt waist away hes free to do his thing as a youngster now oldage has left him

you gave him what so many birds will ever know is age proved that you did him proud

now rejoice in his memory hes always with you there wont be a day goes by that something trigers your thoughts of love for him and as long as that happens hes alive in your heart
