Spunky has deteriorated to the point that it will be euthanized tomorrow if it manages to survive the night the tears of pain run through my mind I gave it some pain meds to keep it comfortable tonight that it had remaining from the first vet visit.

I'm having the bird necropsy done vet offered for free to give me the answers I need to know to make sure my remainder of the flock remain healthy. I also will have the bird cremated and returned to me in a wooden urn to remember the birds life.

I'm so very glad that you are having a necropsy done. It is important in cases like Spunky's where there is no obvious answer. Spunky will be helping may birds in the future and that makes her a hero.

My Hank's ashes are in a box that has his picture on a tile on the lid. It is so comforting to have them right there with you where you can talk to them.
