What happens around that time? Maybe your OH turns on a light that shines under the door? Headlights from a car? Alarm clock?

I'd get that camera before doing anything too drastic. Does that camera have motion and sound alerts and video markers?

It's on the way, I have to look at Terry's link again. It wasn't very expensive so probably not.

How about the nest security cam on Amazon? It can be here by Friday. Sends alerts to the phone. Shall I get it?

I would get one that alerts and marks the video. The nest system does that, even though my cameras are dropcam they run on the nest app.

You can draw markers for alerts too. Meaning he can walk across his main perches but if motion falls below the perches it will alert. Ours are set on Rosie's cage if she touches the floor beneath the cage, meaning she escaped.

What am I going to be looking out for? Sorry if it's a dumb question.

Btw BScoot is eating harrisons by syringe for breakfast and dinner. Eats more at dinner. Eats a couple of nutriberries, mainly ignoring them.

Well, when Maui was falling nothing around him would happen, he would be fast asleep and jump straight up as if something bit him. We thought he was slipping or losing footing. It really seemed as if he was having a bad dream and bolted.

Korbel we found that he won't move around in the dark. He does not seem to see well. He would stay wherever he was at lights out and not move until daylight.

At work I had some falls and after a few nights I noticed the camera would mark motion out the window a few minutes before the falls. A herd of deer were running up the hill and messing around outside the window.

The drawback to nest is the recording membership. There is an annual fee to have it record. The plus side to that is its recorded and saved off property. If your cameras are smashed the video is still there.

She might even have it. Glad it's a liquid. Is it colorless and sweet?
When I originally purchased this several years ago it was recommended by the birds' vet and that's where I got it from. Their current vet does not carry it so I wound up getting it from Amazon. Colorless but no clue about the flavor. Scully runs away when he sees the syringe but after I catch him he takes it without a problem and never spits it out.

He just woke up and wandered over to his bell near the food dish. He sees very well in the dark. Of course it's not pitch dark in there. When I switched a dim light on he whistled. After a few minutes I sent him back to his sleep perch. He understands and complies with the request to go back to bedtime. I'm going to have my vet consult with an avian vet on the phone. None in town.

Oh, no.
Hope the Avian vet consultation sheds some light and offers a solution.

About a week or 10 days. I took him to the vet immediately. This happened in 2012 also and ca fixed it. She said the shot can be given twice a day, so I'm taking him in every morning. and giving oral at night She wants to treat for hypocalcemia before moving on to other diagnoses. She said there's a vast array of things it could be, but since he doesn't fall shot nights, we're going to continue with the shots. She said yes to vetri DMG. Thank you for the concern everyone.
Nothing has changed except he used to get regular weekend sun but since the summer, he hadn't been going out out, except in the shaded flying room. Now i try to take him out for 10 mins in the mornings in direct sun. He starts panting after 5 minutes.

Big hugs.

I'm sure you have a great vet that you trust. She will figure it out.
