Another gramatical pet peeve!:)

Yeah, yeah, I know I'm a nit picky freak of nature but it really drives me crazy! I'm seeing a lot of people use the phrase, per se, but spelling it as "per say". Not that anyone will change, but I thought it would be kind of nice to pass on the information and to whine a bit, something I'm really good at!

I have never used it myself, but have seen it said as per say a lot too and thought that was how it is spelled.

I know it's dumb but it really does drive me crazy! Of course, the term, "saying one's piece" is another one that drives me crazy...I think it makes more sense as peace but that isn't correct...sigh...I'm so weird!

Haha, I have my pet peeves too, I have when people say "aks" instead of of "ask". It drives me NUTS. Or: their/there, etc./ect., lay/lie (I still get confused with that one!), accept/except, anyway/anyways (the worst, it is not anyways!!!!)

OMG! Those drive me crazy too! I'll be the first to admit that I'm a horrible speller but when it comes to mixing up words that sound the same but mean different things, I lose my mind! LOL! And for lay/lie...yep, still don't know how to use that one correctly half the time...also capitol and capital...I always use the wrong one when I'm trying to go pay my Capital One bill...gee, is that right or is it Capitol....

I always have a habit of saying "In all honesty..." and a friend of mine got so sick of hearing that, she'd say something to the effect of "Really, complete and total honesty?!??!?!"
