The only extra hint (first one was how hard they are to come by in Aus...) is the cage I'm ordering, picture below...

I wont confirm the species until I actually have the chance to find one, hopefully early next year. They are available, but in limited numbers and I cant remember what time of year they wean back home....

The smaller ones are great fun - I've been flying reconnaisance for the past 3 years in the Bell 206B1 'Kiowa' and also converted onto the EC-135, which is used widely around the world as a medivac/SAR helicopter.

They all have their own quirks and reasons to love - I like the 'chook now as it's pretty much the fastest helicopter around, one of the largest and can pick up a 19,000lbs load on a sling like it's not even there

Steve, so glad you are here! Hope you are enjoying your time in Bama. I'm sure Danny misses you something fierce and I know you miss him. Wow, love your office. At work I get to see all sorts of different kinds of military helicopters take off, land etc. Couldn't tell you what kind, though the guys I work with all know, lol. I find them fascinating.

Love the cage you picked out. Can't wait to see what lovely bird you will have living in it. How exciting!

I've been in Kentucky for 13 years (from the midwest) and have found that "y'all" and my absolute favorite "all y'all" comes in pretty handy. And apparently rubs off on you, lol.
