Hey folks,
Danny and I will try and spend some time here, together with a few other forums - hope you dont mind.

I never realised that by voicing genuine and real concerns I was pot-stirring. I will resist from doing that here.

For those that dont know me already - I live in Australia, fly helicopters for the Australian Army, have kept parrots all of my life and currently share my house back home with Danny, a 3yr old Yellow Naped Amazon.

I am currently in the US conducting training with the US Army, learning to fly the CH-47D Chinook helicopter. It's a beast, and a joy to fly

I have trained/mentored with Steve Martin (Natural Encounters Inc) and am an advocate for Positive Reinforcement behaviour shaping.

Next year I move from Darwin to Townsville and will hopefully have a more stable home life - this in turn will hopefully give me the opportunity to add ONE more bird to the household. I have already ordered the cage... lol.

It's been a while coming and hasnt been an option with all the moving I do with the military. It looks like I might at least get a few months in the one location next year which will give me the chance to train up a new bird and give Danny some company when I am away all the time......
