I was petting my 4 month cockatiel this morning and noticed a weird hard bump. I never noticed it before, never knew he had this. He doesn’t bite it or scratch it as far as I know. There’s no blood around the bump, or redness. Can anyone give me an idea what this is?
Here’s the only photos I got, the bump was under some feather so pretty hard to take pictures. (I would also wanted to add the bump wasn’t big just a small one) 3794EC84-4ABF-4E1E-8A48-5AE536BF4793.jpeg 37ECAA8E-58ED-475E-9F7A-9DEA4361436A.jpeg 39CBDF75-CC79-454F-A6B5-9850D49C6014.jpeg

I can't tell what it is. But on my Cockatoo there are "bumps" that are part of the wing anatomy. Feel if he has one on the other wing. Could be what you're talking about, but I'm not sure

The bird's elbow joint is in that region so it could be that. However, the pictures are very blurry and unclear; as none of us can actually examine the bird and extend the wing, no one on this forum can tell you for sure what the bump is. If you are concerned about any lumps or bumps, it is always best to seek advice from an avian vet who can examine your bird and perform any necessary tests.
