I think Nautilus is great name! And when he's being a stinker, you can call him 'Nauti', lol!

Tomorrow sometime, maybe.
Today was absolutely hectic, I basically left him be as I had to be out. I know he has found his food and I think he's starting to learn how to navigate his space. I think it'll definitely be a few days (if not more) before he comes out of his shell.

It is amazing how different a juvenile slaty looks when compared to a juvenile plummie, totally different!
I was looking at some of Pi's baby photos, and they do! Pi also looks really small compared to Nautilus, but I dont know if that's just the photos.

He was comfortable eating with me nearby yesterday. I also gave him some veggies, but he only ate the seeds I mixed through the chop. It's been awhile since I've done diet conversion. Would it be bad if I swapped him to a seed mix without sunflowers seeds soon? I can tell those are his favourite, and they'd be a good bonding treat.

He's not been super active that I've seen yet. He was somewhat active this morning when I was sitting watching him, but he's still settling I think. He's not making noise at me now as he can retreat back when he feels he needs to. We've gone a bit forward and backwards today. I was able to stand close to the aviary without him moving away, but then later on I spooked him when I dropped something. :grumpy:
