So, as you know, I'm getting a new mate for Bella. The cage I ordered on amazon came early! I'm still setting it up though. I'm thinking of getting the new bird on Saturday (possibly!) Im still looking for a breeder and trying to get everything ready, but I'm excited!
I'm definitely going to quarantine the new bird. How long would be an adequate time to quarantine?

How long would be an adequate time to quarantine?

Some people do longer others shorter, the average is 4-6 weeks.
Be sure to get a clean bill of health from your vet too.

Any new birds I had were quarantined for 30 days, followed by a clean bill of health before putting them with my birds.
