Well, I think he'll probably take a break for a while now. Haven't seen any action on any of the others yet, either. I'll check them again right before I turn in, but the next update will probably be tomorrow morning. I'll update everyone first thing .

How old must they be in order to be able to identify the sex?

I can usually tell with this breed by 5-6 weeks (although I can guess a bit earlier), since they are single-combed birds. It does vary by comb type. It is harder to tell pea-combed birds until they start showing saddle feathers a few weeks later.

I'm guessing your dad has more use for them being chickens?
What will he do if they turn out being roosters, sell them?
