Hi all!
I've had my masked lovebird, Percy, for about 3 1/2 months now. Although it was rocky at first, he seems to trust me a lot more now and isnt terrified of my hands. He eats treats from my hands, steps up for treats, and likes to eat from his bowl if I'm eating next to him. He will do target training with me and right now I'm teaching him how to spin.
He is most comfortable on his playgym and rarely ventures to other parts of the house. While he steps up onto my finger food, he hasnt ventured to my shoulder or any other parts of my body.
I was looking for advice on how to further bond with my little guy. I know it can take a while and am not necessarily looking to rush anything, just seeing if there's more I could be doing to strengthen the bond.
Thank you in advance!
