I'm new here, and I'm a very anxious person.
But my little boy just went to his yearly doctors appointment and got blood work drawn on his right leg just last Wednesday. His leg was warm to the touch for the time where it was drawn. And now just this morning, that same foot is now swollen and warm. He has problems moving around his cage, climbing and walking from his perches.
He's left handed so eating is a struggle. He was good last night being able to do everything now he's just sitting with his hurt foot tucked under him.
His bloodworks all came back normal, and he doesn't have bumblefoot.
Is this just inflammation or is this an infection?

I would contact your vet and tell them what's going on and/or take him back to the vet. If there's swelling, I wouldn't wait. Let us know how things go.

Definitely see what your vet thinks, they need to know this happened, and may want to do some treatment. sometimes they bleed a little longer under the skin and get a hematoma .

As a human this has happened to me , as well as having the catheter go into a joint capsule making a cyst :( ( which is permanent unless I want surgery) but what was helpful was warm compress ..so see what your vet thinks.

Offer some soft foods like scrambled egg with soaked pellet crumbled in . Cooked mashed sweet potatoes, stuff he will want to eat with beak rather than pick up.

Sorry you found us under these circumstances! Hopefully it heals quickly and you can join us for more fun stuff

I have to wait for his vet tomorrow to call them up sadly. But he's being a strong little guy right now, eating and playing and being generally happy. I'll make an appointment tomorrow as soon as I can.
