Hello,
I recently bought an inexpensive scale from amazon that is TOTALLY inaccurate. So, I decided to return it and buy something a little more high quality and precise. If anyone has any suggestions on some very accurate scales from amazon (Canada) please let me know. I am just looking for a regular kitchen scale, so if anyone knows any good brands that will give me accurate results please let me know below. Thanks in advance!

How do you know the scale is totally inaccurate? Personally I would just look at reviews. There are tons of inexpensive digital food/kitchen/postal scales that will do the job. For the most accurate readings with any scale, make sure it's set to the appropriate unit of measure and always zero it out first.

You might be able to buy Salter stuff in Canada itself.

Because every time I weigh something I absolutely know the weigh of, it’s always about 3-5 grams more. Or when I would weigh the item a different time, it would always be different no matter how much I try.

This AMIR scale from ebay works well, and has a gram setting. There's two covers,
one for the weighing platform, and the other covers the entire unit. The smaller
cover can serve as a tray where you reset tare to zero, and anything that you
place in the tray is weighed accurately. Both covers are clear, hard plastic.

Weighing platform is approx. 4 inches by 4 inches square. Made for a conure!

I thought it was zara. I can't find anything. Maybe she'll be able to find it.

Great! I found the EXACT one on amazon. How’s your experience with it? Does it weigh your birds accurately?

I use the little scales for chicks and eggs, I use normal digital kitchen scales for adult birds usually (though if I can get them on the little scales I will)

Yes, just weighed 6 shiny, new U.S. pennies totaling 15.00 grams (2.5g each). And, weighed my young conure at 60 grams, a few minutes ago.

2 AAA batteries were included.
