It's actually reccomended to keep them indoors below a certain temp because they're an Asian species I don't remember what that is off the top of my head but I'll check later!
Mine are outdoors anyway cause they're not officially "mine", but my friend I got them off keep them outdoors too. I guess if they're kept in groups (mine huddle...?) with proper shelter the local climate here's not too bad.

For people who don't mind minimal contact with their pets I think quail are way underrated pets, don't take up much space either

I love ferrets. If only having animals wasn't limited by space, money and time

I could be doing better though I've still gotta find homes for the male "baby" quail (most of the girls went a few months back), they've hit maturity and are being little horrors.

Well, truthfully I always argue with myself what my limit is

Won't stop thinking about how once the quail go, Naut's aviary will be free again, just needs a bit of fixing up...
Too much to do, too many plans. My focus right now is just getting through the next few months when I finish studying

ok ok you win!!! ... i am going slightly crazy with 7 baby conures right now.... luckily Cheddar goes home on the 8th. And then I'm picking up two more on the 10th
