Pictures Should I return my Prevue Hendryx cage?

I bought a Prevue Hendryx cage for my baby cockatiel which will be coming home in a few weeks. Its 20x24x65 with the playtop and had pretty stellar reviews. I paid just over $200 for it and when it came there were some bent pieces so I had to request replacement parts. The customer service has been good with me so far, they sent then pieces out quickly but when I received then the front panel was apparently made slightly small and so now the top will not fit onto the cage.



I have had to request a replacement for that panel again. Also while I was going through the build process the little tab slot on the back panel snapped off (and i was NOT being rough with the cage).



My husband is not super thrilled with the construction of this cage (keep in mind he is a major perfectionist) and so now I'm wondering if I should just return the whole thing and look for a different brand???

Can anyone recommend a good replacement brand?

Thing is I can't afford to pay much more than I already have and I do not want to downsize the cage. Another thing that is important to me (and why I chose the Prevue Hendryx) is the ability to clean the cage easily. I'm happy to do daily maintenance but I hate stuff that is hard to clean because of stupid design and inaccessible areas. Lastly I am willing to give up the playtop if I have to but I have to admit, that was a major part of the appeal for me with this cage.

I have always loved my HQ flight cages for cheekies initially. They hold up well and have a decent amount of space. A&E has one that is almost identical. https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petco...nde-cage-company-flight-bird-cage-in-platinum

I would return it it if you can and get the flight cage from above. If I had a small bird, thats one I would concider for a cage as well.
