Raj is going to the vet due to seizures

We will be going in in a couple of minutes....he has had a seizure almost daily since last week. He is eating and pooping and preening fine, afterwards, so the vet thinks it is neurological. None of the other birds show any symptoms and it seems stress/fear can induce them also as he had a seizure when Penny or Udo try to come after him...hopefully we will no more later today

Thanks everyone! Raj is with the vet right now - I basically handed him over to the vet when I got there and they will call me when they know something (they are only a half mile away). OK, now I am going to try to think of other things until the call...we know how easy that is

If this were my bird I would ask the vet for Phenobarbital while waiting for any test results. I have seen seizures first hand and they are heart breaking. Danita (Dotty4) has seen them in Kiwi her Blue and Gold.

He talked about that and valium as treatment options, but wanted to rule out anything that could come up in the blood tests.

He had a seizure on my shoulder yesterday afternoon so I just held my hand gently on him as he flapped his wings for a bit...I could hear him make the faintest sound...sort of like air escaping when your trying to hold it in. He then becomes very unstable as if he cannot balance correctly..and he seems exhausted and he has his beak partly open - then about a half hour later he fluffs up once or twice and then he acts normal..starts preening, and eating (alot)..it is so strange.
