Percy was not playing today but eating his vet appointment is postponed to Friday because of the weather tomorrow is going to be bad he is doing better and is fine on me

thanks everyone he is going back on Monday it threatened to snow on Friday since it was so cold I rescheduled his blood work is good that came in on Friday

since I was sick Percy scratched it raw I put cayenne pepper on it to promote healing unlike most birds Percy was very cooperative and I did not have to towel him or hold him down to put it on this should hold him until Monday when I go to the vet

well I got an e-collar from the vet and will be talking to the vet on Thursday

thanks everyone he finally ate some birdie bread with his foot so has adjusted to the collar I thought I was going to need to hand feed

yes he can but is not doing it the cayenne pepper helped thanks it is healing now

Percy is just eating a little and sitting like a log he is not doing the best with the collar on but he is eating some I will be weighing him to monitor if I can

I found it takes them a number of days to adjust to the collar...Yes, you may need to feed him and that is OK!
