Didn't you say you were going to keep Adélie? I don't think I could give that little one up but then I would find it hard to give any of them up. Sweet of you to gift the two brothers to your friend and great that you will be able to get updates about them. You've done an excellent job!!
Yes, I decided a while ago we we´re going to keep him. My boyfriend can read me. So I don´t even need to say it. He looked at me one night and said ¨you could keep this one here...¨ . I tried not to get attached, but it was impossible. My boyfriend is in awe that he has survived and that I managed to keep him well.

My friend saw my hen was laying, and asked what I would do with the chicks and that she and her husband were looking for birds. So I agreed to gift her 2. Another friend (of my boyfiend) originally was to take the third but later backed out. I offered the chick to my neighbour who has a dutch blue, but she said she couldn´t but has a friend who loves agapornis.
My friend sends me lot of pictures and videos of the 2 little ones, She´s so happy and I feel good that these birds are in a home where they are loved and make my friend and her husband very happy. I felt them before they left, they both feel male, the third one felt female. I know that is not fool proof but my friend is not interested in chicks at all and is willing to destroy any eggs, for ethical reasons.

A happy ending, in my books :D
