New member!! Bourke Parrot

Hello I am new here I'm from Ireland and I recently got a Bourke parrot she is I think a Rubino mutation I was told was a female and she's only 5 months old...I've honestly never seen a calmer more pleasant bird...she was quite nervous the first day I have her 6 days now and she's really come around...what I'm asking really is if anyone could verify she is intact a female and also if ye have found it hand to hand tame them...so far she seems like it can be done and so very docile...but still would appreciate any advice

No idea on gender for the rubies. I have a wild type boy myself



He's about 6 months old and while he's hand shy, he is a very friendly guy. Took him a couple months but he loves to land on our heads and shoulders and is very social.
