My mixed species aviary build!

Sorry it's been a while...!

So, the other end is on, the hardcore is complete (just need 1.5 tonnes of concrete...) and the second mesh layer is on.



Also, half the old aviary is gone, and all the birds are in the other end.

We pick up the zebra finches tomorrow afternoon!

We will be putting plants in at a later date as our priority is getting them moved. I have 3 plants coming on Tuesday.

@Lincee your wish has been granted, check in this time tomorrow to see the birds! I will try to make a video at some point too!

The three I have for Tuesday are:
Rosemary
A type of butterfly plant
And one I can't remember

There is something about the ropes I absolutely love!

They are home!

5 beautiful zebra finches!

Our birds have all been moved to the new aviary at the same time to avoid territory problems.

Our aviary collection is currently at 3 budgies, 6 zebra finches and 2 red rump parakeets.

I used the real camera as this tablet's camera is useless, so I will get them downloaded tomorrow morning and sent to my tablet to share. They are some beautiful zebbys! I have about 120 pictures (I did a little photoshoot)

I will be looking for 6 zebra finch names. Hopefully pics will help with ideas tomorrow! I was thinking biscuits?

When the plants are in etc. and it looks pretty, I may do a 'tour' video or a compilation of loads of pictures.

They have all settled really well, and are just going in to roost now. I can't wait to get it planted and furnished!
