I was thinking of drilling into it at various levels and placing some bamboo sticks pointing out so they can perch on them.

I'm so sorry this is taking such a long time, but with work and the virus, progress is slow. Hopefully the pace will pick up soon!

Today, the back went on and the final 4 posts went up. We will be doing more tomorrow, so pictures then!

That end is done (yes, there is mesh!)
This is about a third if the completed back wall, at a total of 19ft.
Partially meshed roof section. Sorry the image is facing the sun!
Next step: Roof completion on aviary and solid shed roof made and felted.

Shed roof near to completion. It has been so hot today!!
Next step: work out what day of the week it is then do some more aviary building...
Monday I believe...So, after clarifying with a few others that it was definetely Tuesday...
We completed the shed roof and felted it...
The first front layer of mesh went on too!

Just letting you know. My dad has been doing a few thing over the last half term week,but I haven't been there to get any pictures, so be prepared for a bunch on Sunday
