What’s the most damage, wallet or physically, that your bird has done? I know some tend to be quite the troublemakers

A laptop keyboard. My Quaker ripped off the keys and also chewed off the rubber buttons underneath, making the keyboard completely unusable.

The largest most costly things to fix/replace would have to be either the kitchen faucet or his cage as single items damaged by my mischief maker but then there is the huge collection of things he has personally styled for me which to replace them all for the equivalent non broken or marked items is more than I am happy to spend. My home is starting to look like all my furniture was dragged home from the tip lmao

Left him alone for roughly a minute to grab him some water, came back to all the keys ripped off and chewed up, mouse scroller was destroyed, computer screen corner had a huge dent in it, and a large chunk of my watch strap was gone. I wasn't thrilled. :laughing6:

I've only had my bird for around 10 months. The worst thing he destroyed was probably some doc martins. He hasnt really destroyed too much. Only little things like earphones and book covers .

I guess in value it would be my iPhone. I have wondered since I got my largest bird whether he was capable of cracking it, he is :roflmao: I knew larger birds are but mine isn’t that large so I wondered.

I thought Burt has also destroyed a lot of phones, or was that a different very destructive macaw?

Guess they don't make doc martins like they used to then! I am interested to know what Winnie did to them.

He has only broken a old spare Iphone that I had hidden in a drawer, I do not really count that as a loss though as I had already replaced it and just put that one aside as an emergency phone. He has broken numerous good covers (otterbox ones too!) and screen protectors, I am pretty sure I have spent more in 5 years on covers and screen protectors than I've spent on phones in 20 years lol

Frankie has got about 3 pairs of my runnung shoes (trainers in the UK) so ended up buying him his own in a small kids size.
He splintered the kitchen door at our old house, but we fixed that.
My clothes have his design label on them; the tattered and torn look.
Dolly did the most damage. She climbed up our brand new couch and ripped it. Hubby was ripping mad about that. Now, we have lots of throws and an actual cover on the set.
Oh and back to Frankie. Every carpet he sees he tries to rip them apart.
Mine aren't into laptops and phones, luckily for me.

since i haven't had lamarr for very long and he's a softbill, the damage he's done (so far) is thankfully a lot smaller. but he has gotten to one of my lace-front wigs (very expensive, if you're looking for quality!) and i can say with the utmost certainty that he's completely destroyed my bank account :roflmao: i also had to rush to save an eighty-dollar purse he seemed pretty determined to poop on

As I was sitting reading posts on here, Miss Dolly just chewed off the rubber handle bar on my exercise bike. Hehe she must know I hate using it. She's in trouble when hubby gets home. :sneaky:

Pepper once chewed through an (unplugged) laptop charger cord that I left on my desk… it was over $100 to replace it because I my laptop has one of those cords that’s special for the laptop brand…:banghead:

as soon as i post this, lamarr somehow manages to pull a key off my keyboard. it's still usable, but i'm surprised!! i didn't even think he could do that. you really do have to bird-proof everything lol
