Going by the color & texture of the picture, the VHS tape & that thermostat, I'd've said mid-to-late 80's. How specific of a guess are you wanting? Year? Decade?

But more importantly we need to know more about that darling on your shoulder! How old is he or she? Their name?

Far enough back that I don't exactly remember, so that's close enough

that darling on your shoulder!

How old is he or she? Their name?

That was Bert, but sadly he passed a few years ago -- he would have been in his 40s.
He took the arm off my glasses some time during that visit

You and Marvin, and the rest of your crew, have had an amazing journey together so far! And based on your glasses frames, I would have also guessed mid- to late-1980s. I'd also venture to guess that you and your sister are roughly the same age as my sister and I! But I think I've destroyed most of my big hair 80s photos....so don't ask. Lol!
