Instant pots possibly safe?

I see posts of people cooking food for the fids in these popular pressure cookers; can I take this to mean that they are safe generally?
I would think that the temperatures wouldn't get to the high levels needed for outgassing teflon-type compounds, especially with the use of pressure to assist cooking.
Or are people using brands that have ceramic or steel inner pots? What brands are you chefs using? ;)
Does anyone have any idea if any brands can use replacement pots not specifically made for the brand? I have a Power Pressure Cooker XL 8 quart model (Fusion Life brand), which appears to have a teflon lining, so I'd need to get a replacement if I am to use it when the bird I am adopting comes home...

There is a group on FB for the Insta Pot, why not join the group and there you can chat with alot of folks that use it. Yes, the Insta Pot does have the stainless steel bowl.

Mine is instant pot brand . The liner is stainless steel. No worries for the fids and you’ll love how fast it cooks!

Also can work as slow cooker or steamer.

Thanks for the quick replies!
I looked on Amazon for alternative pots, but they are all for the original brand; this is a different brand (Fusion life).
Normally I am comfortable with a little jury-rigging, but when it comes to high heat and pressure, not so much. I grew up on stovetop pressure cookers, and use an autoclave at work. A couple of mm off could be reallly disastrous.

I'll pop into the FB group, but it may be for just the original brand with the ss pots. Looks like I'll be shopping for a new IP...

Thanks again!

Yes Instant Pot is a brand name of pressure cookers, and at least one of the FB groups is run by the Instant Pot company. If it says anything but Instant Pot on it, it's not an instant pot; it's a pressure cooker.

I would try to contact the manufacturer and see if there is a SS insert that they sell or recommend.

They are fine. I got one for Christmas. The pot is just nice plain stainless steel, no coatings of any kind.

I have one and use it almost daily, not a problem. You might want to contact the company, just like airfryers, each one is different. Also you can convert your stovetop pressure cooker recipes for the electric pressure cooker.

After letting my IP gather dust for a year I've started using it. I feel great about it's SS bowl and safety.
I'm seriously dying over this picture from the Phoenix Landing blog.

They have released an air fryer now that is NOT safe just FYI.

Darn! I would buy it if it was safe! I love the idea of an air fryer.

Yeah that is called the Instant Pot Vortex.

They did just release a new Instant Pot Pressure Cooker + Air Fryer lid combo (Duo Crisp I believe is the name) that I haven't had a chance to look into yet. However there is an Instant Pot compatible lid that is called a Mealthy CrispLid is bird safe :)
