Sadly I must to inform all wondeful people here who were helping us and caring for Charlie that he sadly passed away last night.
Thing were going great until last evening he really looked bad fluffed feathers and was very weak. He started vomiting but this time it looked way more sinnister.
I rushed him to emergency hospital wheree they tried to give him fluids and have him stable but this morning they called to informed me he is gone. I'm so hearbroken i don't know why things went to downhill because yesterday he was pretty normal, just a little tired. We were cuddling a lot and he didn't want to leave my side. Like he was saying goodbye. I miss my baby so much. He was like a child to me and my boyfriend and we really did our best. Even his vet is so surprised he died to suddenly but maybe he really was in pain and didn't want to live like this any longer going back and forth to vets. It was my dream to have parrot companion for many years but after this expirience i feel like i failed them. Charlie was sick from february but we were treating diffrent things and now when we finally got him diagnosed it was obviously too late. If only i knew i got so many useful advices maybe his little life would be a bit longer.
He brought me so many nice memories in 2022 before he got sick, and when he would wake up before me and sing untile we get up. Seeing him was always high light of my day.
Guys take a good care of your feather babies they are so precious.
I will miss my baby forever.
