So I recently saw someone who said this,

Male cere = purple, pink, any shade of dark blue, or a mottled combo of these three colours

Female cere = white, tan, brown or pale blue

I always thought only the male budgies had blue ceres but here, it says both genders can? I thought Females have warm colored ceres, and males had cool colored ceres. Could someone just clarify this a little for me?

What Sparkles said is correct :)
This thread has a chart and if you scroll down Monica has posted some really good photos of a female with a light blue cere.

Also one of odd ways I remember it is for young budgies it’s opposite to what you think Pink = Boy and Blue = Girl.
