How much millet should you give a budgie?

How much Millet should I give my budgie? I'v been feeding him off and on the same spray for a couple of hours, I just gave him a final piece. Also I wondered if I should give him it once a week or everyday?

Depends on what else they are eating A lot of budgie blends already have millet in them, so you don't want to throw off the diet too much. Usually a "globe" or two off the spray a day should be fine though.

For me spray millet is only used for training purposes seen as they like it so much and only a few beakfulls.

I feed a good seed mix and vegetable chop usually.

As long as budgie is getting lots of veg and other seeds and exercising should be okay.
