How much Coconut oil for small bird?

I'm curious how much coconut oil I should feed my bird? He's a House Sparrow so he's about the size of a canary or so. How much should I give him daily?

They don't need much. I'd say 1/8 tsp would be the max I'd provide. It's still just straight fat.

For a while I've just been letting him get 2-3 pecks of solid coconut oil off a spoon (not nearly as much as 1/8 tsp) and he really seems to love it, so I suppose I can let him have a little bit more next time, thanks for the response!

A few pecks is probably sufficient honestly
